United We Stand: American Flag Mosaic
to Support Jammies for GI's!
It's a mosaic made from people's creative self portraits! Faces of Buffalo has partnered with Jammies for GI's in this creative fundraiser which made an American Flag Mosaic from portraits drawn by people!

A Mosaic made from faces!
Jammies for GI's, working under the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, is offerring "United We Stand"; a creative rendition of the American Flag. The print is made from uniting 1,551 self portraits drawn by people in the community. Portraits were created by disabled American Veterans, Jammies for GI's supporters, local schools and even a few soldiers from Iraq. Their faces are combined with other participants from past Faces of Buffalo initiatives to create this patriotic mosaic.

Jammies for GI's supports our hospitalized injured troops by providing them with care, comfort, clothing and recreational items. We have sent thousands of items to our hospitalized wounded in Iraq, Germany and many military hospitals in the U.S.
